In an online event conducted Tuesday, Apple unveiled the new iPhone range. The iPhone 13 small, iPhone 13, Apple iPhone 13 Pro, and Max iPhone 13 Pro are the four versions of the latest iPhone, which have a similar look to the iPhone 12.
The iPhone 13 range is priced starting at $799 for the iPhone 13 and $699 for the iPhone 13 small. The 13 Pro is priced at $999, while the 13 Pro Max is priced at $1099.
The Bionic A15 is a 5nm CPU that powers all versions. According to the firm, this is the “fastest CPU on any smartphone.” A new 4-core GPU is also included.
The notch has shrunk by 20%, the back camera module has been rebuilt, and the screen has been brightened by about 28% to 1200 nits. For the iPhone Pro models, there’s also a 1TB option. The release date for iOS 15 — September 20 — was also announced.
Apple Watch Series 7 is now available for $399.
While the new iPhones don’t seem to be all that different from Apple’s prior models on the surface, there are some significant changes behind the hood.
Design
The new iPhone 13 has a design that is quite similar to its predecessor. However, the back camera module has been rebuilt, and the notch on the front has been reduced (about 20 percent smaller). In addition, the screen is now 28 percent brighter. All four models are water resistant to IP68 and feature a protective ceramic covering.
Display
The iPhone 13 will have a 6.1-inch display, while the iPhone 13 mini will have a 5.4-inch display. The displays on both phones are Super Retina XDR.

With ProMotion, a technology that automatically syncs the refresh rate with the user’s finger for a smoother experience, the screens on the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro Max can reach as high as 120Hz. The displays are 6.1 and 6.7 inches in size, respectively.
The Bionic A15
Apple’s new smartphone CPU is backed by some big promises. To begin, the Bionic A15 is built on a 5nm device with approximately 15 billion transistors and six cores, two of which are high-performance and four of which are high-efficiency.

The new SoC, according to Apple, is 50 percent quicker than the competition, with graphics that are 30 percent faster. They deliberately omitted to mention who they are pitting themselves against.
Camera
The iPhone 13 features two new cameras: a 12MP wide sensor with an f/1.6 aperture and a 12MP ultrawide sensor with an f/2.4 aperture that can record up to a 120-degree field of view. It also has the sensor-shift technology that was first seen on the 12 Pro Max last year.
Instead of two cameras, the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max have three, with one wide-angle, one ultra-wide, and a 77mm telephoto lens. Macro pictures are possible with the Ultrawide lens on the Pro series.
On all four versions, there are photographic styles that enable users to apply personal picture preferences to each shot utilizing Apple’s multi-frame image processing.

There’s also a cinematic option with shallow depth of field (blurred backdrop for you non-photographers) and automated focus adjustments. The Pro models also have ProRes, a video codec that offers better color fidelity and less compression and is utilized as the final delivery format for commercials, films, and broadcasts.
Life of the battery
Apple claims that the iPhone 13 small will last up to 1.5 hours longer than the iPhone 12 Mini, while the bigger iPhone 13 will last up to 2.5 hours.
The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max have similar battery life, with 1.5 and 2.5 hours greater than the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max, respectively. As a result, the iPhone 13 Pro Max has the longest battery life of any iPhone.
